MY RATING Summary
It’s really difficult to write about Laika, the Soviet Space Dog. For me, it is one of the saddest animal stories I have ever heard.
She was a stray dog who was sent to a space mission, knowing that she wouldn’t survive.
It’s heartbreaking to see images and videos of Laika the Stray, smiling and being happy while not knowing her fate.
“Please forgive us” were the last words she heard before being launched into this deadly mission.
