MY RATING Summary
I’m not from this era but I heard that most Americans grew up watching Rin Tin Tin, who was one of the first and most popular canine celebrities on the screen.
I was just amazed by the story of this puppy found and adopted by a US soldier in the chaos of World War I. Then brought it home and lived the American Dream.
I never thought about that German Shepherd Dogs was one of the most feared and misunderstood dog breeds in the World back in the days, as they were always used by the Nazis. And I liked the story that Rin Tin Tin movies actually removed this fear and even popularized these intelligent breeds as pets in the US.
