MY RATING Summary
Grumpy Cat’s fur color combination and unique face make him so photogenic. He might just be the most Beautiful “Ugly Cat” ever. Perhaps Lil Bub might just be the only one who would beat her for that title and seeing these two meet was such an epic moment for Cat lovers.
He’s a legendary meme cat and there are many upcoming Cats with Grumpy faces out there, but Tardar Sauce’s face might just be too iconic. But also that his face might just be the Grumpiest cat face of all.
I don’t know much about feline dwarfism, but a part of me kinda always feels sorry or worried for him. Like, if he’s in pain and stressed all this time. But perhaps it’s just his face.

KEY INFORMATION about The Grumpiest Cat Breeds
Some cat breeds naturally look “grumpy” due to their facial structure and expressions. Here are the top contenders:
-
Persian – With their flat face, large round eyes, and serious expression, Persians often look annoyed. However, they are typically calm, and affectionate, and enjoy lounging around.
-
British Shorthair – Known for their plush fur, chubby cheeks, and unimpressed gaze, British Shorthair have an air of quiet dignity. They are independent but can be very loving with their owners.
-
Exotic Shorthair – Often called the “short-haired Persian,” this breed has a similar grumpy look but a more manageable coat. They are playful and friendly but can have mood swings.
-
Scottish Fold – Their round face, folded ears, and neutral-to-grumpy expressions make them look perpetually uninterested. They are affectionate but may be shy around strangers.
-
Siamese – With their sharp, angular faces, striking blue eyes, and intense gaze, Siamese cats often look judgmental. They are highly vocal, and affectionate, and demand attention from their owners.
Despite their grumpy appearance, these breeds are known for their sweet, loving, and sometimes playful personalities. Their expressions may say “Leave me alone,” but many of them secretly adore human companionship!
