Oh, that dear face! I don’t even remember the first time I saw Doge’s face, but suddenly, it was everywhere and it just seemed never to stop.
I can easily understand why her face is called “The Mona Lisa” of the meme world as her face is already both epic and a classic.

The beauty of this famous Shiba Inu is as incredible as the story of how she became famous, thanks to her generous hooman parent, Atsuko Sato, who introduced her lovely dog to us.

But the fans worldwide should be given the most credit for creating all these memes and tributes.

• Kabosu comes from a type of Japanese citrus fruit with the same name. However, it’s quite a common dog name in Japan.
• Hooman parent Atsuko Sato found her as a stray dog in a rescue center.
• Atsuko took the epic photo of this legendary Dog meme in 2010 while she was sitting on a couch, and then he gave us this famous facial expression.
• Besides inspiring Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency on her face, The Crypto Dog also became quite a cultural phenomenon.
• Her fame has been used for charity work, including medical research and animal welfare.
• In 2021, our dear doggie was diagnosed with leukemia.
• Sadly, 3 years later, after suffering from liver sickness as well, Kabo-Chan died on May 24th.
